It's tough at the top.  Most executives no longer get the support, training and mentoring to which those managers lower in the organization regularly have access.  Macaulay Consulting provides executive level leadership coaching to support and develop these executives.  A coaching engagement typically lasts 12 months and includes 360 degree feedback, identification of key development issues, mechanisms to gain support and accountability from a "boss" or board, and ongoing coaching and thought-partnering.  The coaching relationship with Macaulay Consulting gives executives an objective, experienced and tough-but-caring viewpoint to help executives navigate the challenges they face in growing their companies.


Before effective decisions can be made about hiring, succession, promotion or organizational change, valid and reliable data must be gathered.  Macaulay Consulting provides assessment data on individuals and organizations.

  • Individual Assessment:  We take the time to understand the culture, the leadership team and the position for which the candidate is being considered.  Equally skilled people have different styles and approaches that may or may not work for the given situation.  Our approach includes organizational interviews to understand the context, online testing for the candidate, and an intensive historical interview with the candidate.  We then sit down with the hiring decision-makers and discuss the likelihood of success for each candidate.
  • Organizational Assessment:  Is it time to consider organizational change?  Are you taking over a new department or company?  Is it time for periodic internal feedback?  Macaulay Consulting applies deep knowledge of organizational theory, life-cycle maturation, and leadership effectiveness to lead a cross-sectional sample of your employees and managers through an interview process.  This data is synthesized into a report that captures strengths, development areas and cultural issues for the organization to consider before changes are designed and implemented.
